On the surface it would appear that the decline of male only spaces was only about equal access and opportunity for women.

Many men, will argue that it was more about women seeking to control the behavior of men.

Perhaps the reality is eerily similar to what many of us witnessed in recent years with the pandemic lockdown extremism measures.

What if the end of male spaces, being demanded by the government was an effort to stymie men from freely associating, as was ordered during the pandemic, an activity which our founding fathers did in pubs and other civic establishments. Because men, across all social classes being allowed fraternity are no so easily oppressed.
