Grand Theft Auto 6 Delayed to 2026 Would KILL the AAA Gaming Industry!

The Gaming industry as a whole is not in a good place. The biggest studios are paralyzed in fear of a business class that is so far removed from it's customers, they know the product that they release cannot survive in the current market, but they are powerless to stop it. Consultancy companies and middle management bloat that plagues Hollywood seeped its way into Gaming years ago, so it was only logical to see it bear fruits all these years later.

The biggest game and most anticipated game in history is on the horizon in the form of Grand Theft Auto 6. There has been rumors in development woes, with leaks and staff complaints hindering its incredibly long production schedule. Rockstar Games knows it needs to hit a home run, not just for itself, but for the entire industry. There is little hope from the average gamer that the AAA space can produce a no-strings-attached banger title in 2024. Stellar Blade is setting itself up to be a hit as a remaining title to be released this year, but it's dwarfed in hype when compared to GTA 6. So hearing the game could get pushed out even further, it could very well be a bridge too far for some who are still holding out for anything other than indie games.

Gaming might be making a lot of money, but their business practices are killing the industry.
