Corrections to Teaching on 11/2/19

In the teaching I shared on 11/2/19, I, Nitza Moshe, stated that the Hebrew word “DaBaR” did not occur first until Genesis 11:1. This is true if only looking at the Strong’s #H1697 – “DaBaR.”

However, clarity and correction needs to be made! I’m very thankful to our Berean Sister Katie from California (who attended Jubilee Sukkot 2019) who was watching via livestream and questioned me about the occurrence of “DaBaR” in Genesis 8:15.

The Strong’s H1697 “DaBaR” does not occur until Genesis 11:1 wherein all people are of the same “language” (DaBaR). Then comes the scattering of the people who are in accord/unity to do evil resulting in the Tower of Babel incident wherein communication and language becomes a merciful deterrent from Elohim for mankind.

However, the occurrence in Genesis 11:1 of Strong’s H1697 “DaBaR” meaning speech, word, matter, spoken of a thing is from the Strong’s H1696 “DaBaR.”

Since there are two different Strong’s numbers for “DaBaR” (H1697 and H1696), the second one did not come up in my search using E-Sword.

Nevertheless, “DaBaR” H1696 does occur first in Genesis 8:15 meaning to arrange or as I translate with Ancient Hebrew pictograph function to mean “vibrations put in order from the beginning.”

Having “DaBaR” H1696 occur first in Genesis 8:15 is even more thought provoking because it is AFTER the flood and judgement that Elohim uses “DaBaR” to communicate to Noah just before he gets off the ark once the waters have dried up (Gen. 8:14).

In Genesis 6:13, Elohim communicates with Noah giving him instructions to build an ark via “AMaR” just as He did from Creation in Genesis 1:3 up until this point in Scripture!

Gen 6:13 And GodH430 said/AMaRH559 unto Noah . . .

Thus, it seems Elohim only AMaR-ed with man BEFORE the judgement of the flood.

However, AFTER the flood, Elohim uses DaBaR to communicate with man – Noah and then, not again, in either form (H1696 or H1697) until Genesis 11:1.

I’m just trying to imagine how Noah felt or reacted when there was only communication from Elohim via AMaR (thought energy – hearing via the Ruach) and, then suddenly after the flood judgement, he hears via DaBaR (possibly vibrational sound)!!!???

This definitely puts more light (ohr/order) on the topic of AMaR vs. DaBaR!
