Groomsman Faints During Wedding And Falls Directly On The Bride
Having recently been married in the last year or two, I can confidently say that none of the wedding guides I read ever told people that you should not lock your knees.
We have said it before and we will say it again…
Admittedly, we told our groomsmen and bridesmaid at our wedding to not lock their knees. Fortunately, for us most our wedding party were old pros. No one fainted at our wedding, but we have been to weddings where someone forgot and totally locked their knees. It turns out that there is a pretty good reason for this. When you lock your knees you tend to decrease blood flow to your brain, which causes you to faint or fall over. Unfortunately, when you do this at an event it makes you the center of attention rather than say the bride! Some basic research led us to find out that locking your knees helps blood pool in your legs without cycling back up to your brain as well.
Do NOT lock your knees at a wedding. You will find yourself just like THIS guy!
