Joe Satriani: "Ride"

I just bought a 40 year old motorcycle.
Let me clarify that:
I just spent three months buying a 40 year old motorcycle, that's halfway across the country. I waited, got my ducks in a row, gave plenty of other people a chance to buy it out from under me, but no one did. So, the first of April came along and I paid for it in full.
Here's how I knew it was meant to be mine.
March 5th, I rented a storage unit where I'll be keeping it. A month before buying it.
March 5th, I bought insurance for myself & the bike. A month before buying it.
March 5th, I booked a flight & rental car to go get the bike. A month before I bought it.
I ordered a "factory" seat cover for the bike. Two weeks before I bought it.

The time came, and I was ready to fly out to get it, and the airline "broke" my plane. I sat four hours in the airport trying to get on a two hour flight to Vegas. Then it got cancelled, so I had to book a new flight, a new rental car, and now, a hotel room the night before I actually pick it up.

I'm taking a duffle bag with my helmet (which I also got before buying the bike), some clothes, and all my camera gear (GoPros, and Ordro Headcam, & batteries), and some tools to put the cameras on the bike.

When I head out of the parking lot from the dealer in Peoria, this'll be playing on my MP3 player.
