Thou shalt return and Obey the voice of the LORD

We have here the unconditional promise made by the LORD God of Heaven toward the people of Israel. As you read through this passage, you do not see any “if’s” which would make the promise be conditional. The LORD does not state, “If you, Israel, do this, then I will do that.” There are no conditions here that have to be met by the Israelites and this is a passage that has not been yet fulfilled. This is Moses speaking to the Israelites, telling them what God has promised to them as they prepare to enter the land promised to them by God.
