NJ earthquake 4.8 magnitude - only 1/2 mile below earth’s surface

If the earth is founded on pillars you can have seismic shifts in the foundation. If the earth is a water-covered sphere spiraling through the vacuum of space an earthquake is illogical.

You have to have a pinned edge to have an earthquake.
