Vigilant Bible Entry 3 - Genesis 2:1-14. The garden of Eden is a fenced in garden not located in the east but of well established vegetation according to the Hebrew text. Hevilah does not have gold but instead a resin that is similar in nature to myrrh. And when God created everything it was more akin to a board game, the pieces were set and the game was ready to begin.

I’m pretty upset about the poor translations of the KJV and the NIV and you should be too. That’s why I’m translating the bible myself with as little bias as possible. We are going straight from the Masoretic text to English. I have Genesis 2:1-14 with corresponding notes and references per verse.
