Beginning of my music room transformation🙂♥️🙏😇😎. I’m in tech, kind of. I click buttons all day on my screens. I’m a professional and proficient interface user. I strive to click buttons and pace through information to click the buttons as quickly and efficiently as possible. This is the essence of my job, to understand context within a conveyor belt flow of tasks to comprehend and execute with as much intuitive knowledge as possible in the most efficient manner possible within the application landscape provided. I have framed it as an efficiency game whereby every input either increases or decreases efficiency. The brain is king in this game, and it either navigates and perseveres a path towards improved efficiencies or it flounders. Temperament, engagement, relationships, interaction, intention, resources, knowledge, wisdom, everything plays into it! One constant objective is to avoid lag as it is constant. Another is to capitalize on lag by navigating multiple items simultaneously by way of intentionally and deliberately striving to improve upon my ability to mentally and gymnastically leverage the lag to juggle multiple decision based tasks at once. It is a 10-14 hour a day dance. Wish it was only 8 - not proud or happy about the long days but it has been a requirement within my life path to be able to live and survive. The work environment and pace makes the day fly by, that is for sure. This existence follows three decades of training self and experience to gain my current proficiencies while simultaneously engaging with clients by phone. Now that I am finally off the phone (it is a very nice change of pace, but also very much missed) I listen to long form conversations, my favorite music, meditation and prayer videos, and look to discover new thought interests by exploring for new content, perspectives, thinkers, and inputs on YouTube throughout the day. I have just listened to my new favorite pod convo last evening, Robert Green’s March 18’th convo with DOAC host Steven Bartlett! I originally put my office in my basement when I began working from home for the first time at age 47, but I find myself discouraged to walk down in the morning so I moved it to my music room last night. Still need to move my workstation, and the desk is temporary as I build and modify. It is a work in progress but I now have a vision for what the final result will be! I’m subtly overhauling my room. This is the beginning stage of the overhaul. Will include a custom desk, a four screen wall hung set up with ancillary side screen, laptop and iPad and phone stations, an improved amp arrangement to increased floor space and customized shelving to make it a space where I will be spiritually most supported in my thought endeavors! Today’s workstation environment is undeveloped with no real market or economy. The space is ripe for the taking. The work environment needs to be redefined, and that means creating a wall of screens to get everything you use throughout the day integrated into a teams/salesforce environment to create efficiencies and reduce button clicks! I want to continue to strive to be more productive, efficient, and make better decisions in all facets of life as an employee, colleague, human, father and husband, son, spiritual conscious thinker being. But I can digressing to also being very excited to set up my Alexa speaker to auto shut off when my teams phone rings so I no longer have to reach for the volume button. Another efficiency puzzle piece! What do you think? Second video is before and first is after. Not much is given to home office space. I find curated spaces emote feelings that can be beneficial and leveraged to provide more benefits, which is to ultimately make better decisions about anything and everything throughout my day, whether how I feel about someone, or whether I choose to motivate myself, or how I internalize my day’s experiences within the context of my values, goals, life, etc. life motto, wake up every day to do your best to be your best! god bless! 🙂♥️🙏😎😇
