A militant from Jordan attacked an Israeli defence force vehicle near the border. A gunman crossed into the border crossing and opened fire at the Israeli troops. The attack took place during routine patrolling near the northern town of Beit Shean. The attack comes just days after Hamas leader Mohammed Deif's chilling message. Deif urged all Muslim nations to “join the fight to liberate Al-Aqsa.” The latest attack could be a result of Deif's call for action against Israel. Jordan, from where the gunman came, is witnessing a massive anti-Israel wave.
