Up late last night I did not fully recover from yesterday’s PR. Consequently I 💯 “Over-egged the cake.” I began at 400 Watts like yesterday, fell to 394 and finished at a respectable but still lesser 351.

That gradual loss of power due to fatigue is exactly what I don’t want to, “bake in” with training as the default. I’ll have to be mindful moving forward to begin more conservatively on days like today. I knew going into it I wasn’t at full power but I didn’t follow my better judgment.

Regardless, it was still more quality volume and one more in the books before another bout of travel.

Following the bike I did a quick 100x Toes to bar and shut it down.
