The Satire of Helldivers, Warhammer 40,000 and Starship Troopers

Satire in games and films can be hard to get right and these three: Helldivers 2, Warhammer 40,000, and the classic sci-fi film Starship Troopers succeed to various degrees [there is also EDF: Earth Defence Force]. With very few tangents and a couple of spicy windmills I analyze and dissect the satirical themes and social commentary woven into these diverse works of fiction. There are layers to all of them - the surface layer is thin on Helldivers and not so thin with Starship Troopers. And Warhammer 40,000 had its own incident with someone who 'didn't get it' at a tournament at GT Talavera in 2021.
