Ten teams representing working ranches in the Roaring Springs region compete against one another to qualify for entry in the WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo. The Old Settlers Reunion & Rodeo is always a great excuse to return to a small and beautiful town I have known since childhood.

The Motley Dickens Old Settlers Reunion and Rodeo is an annual celebration for the two sparsely populated counties with a long heritage of farming and ranching history.
