Cooking Kawaii is a time management cooking game with a sushi bar theme.

We've not encountered any mandatory ads.

Watching advertisements will give the player temporary perks or in-game currency which can be used to upgrade the kitchen. This in turn will make levels easier.

So far, we've not encountered any pay-to-win feel to the game.

We have not found any objectionable material in this game. Although these days, we are sure someone somewhere may be offended by the use of a knife or the diversity aspects of the customers.

~~~~~ Is Cooking Kawaii fun to play? Is the game challenging? Is this game a grind? ~~~~~

After 15 levels, we are just beginning to get a feel for the game. We feel the challenging aspects are yet to come.

Is this game a grind? Since this is a level-based game, the grind would come if levels needed to be repeated in order to obtain enough in-game currency to make necessary purchases.

~~~~~ What are the pros and cons of Cooking Kawaii? ~~~~~

Pros:
Decent graphics.
Children can learn the benefits of efficiency.
Decent pace to the game.

Cons:
Game feels like it can get repetitive over time. While all games suffer from that trait, we feel that may start soon.
One can “pre-prep” the base of the food items before the customer order is given. We are not sure if this is intended or not. This feels like cheating. While we know fast food restaurants will do this during busy times, this feels weird doing it in game.

Bottom Line:
We've seen better games and we've seen worse games. Watch the videos and make your own determination.
