México concede asilo político al exvicepresidente ecuatoriano Jorge Glas

ÚLTIMA HORA!. El Gobierno del presidente mexicano Andrés Manuel López Obrador, a través del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, ha decidido otorgar asilo político al exvicepresidente ecuatoriano Jorge Glas, quien buscó refugio en la embajada de México en Ecuador por considerarse un perseguido político.
Además han emitido una "solicitud para que concedan el salvoconducto respectivo, de conformidad con la Convención de Asilo Diplomático de 1954, tratado internacional del que México y Ecuador son Estados parte", dijo la cancillería en una nota de prensa.
