Dolphins are very intelligent marine animals and are a part of the family of toothed whales that includes pilot whales and orcas. They can be found worldwide, but mostly in shallow sea water. They are carnivores and feed mostly on fish and squid. Their color varies the back where is darker and their stomach is a lighter grey. Watch this video of a man paddling around with dolphins in the sea. What an amazing view!

This incredible footage occurred on March 16, 2018, in Whitianga, New Zealand. The man who was surfing and noticed these beautiful creatures said: "I was on my morning paddle on the coast when a pod of dolphins met me on the way and joined me for a while. They even gave me some help by providing lift from their wake."
However, this is not the first case of people meeting dolphins while surfing and paddling. A lot of paddling isn’t necessary to find a dolphin. All you have to do is position yourself and let one find you! Dolphins are migratory creatures, so they travel a lot and people get to see them in many places and occasions.

The funniest thing about dolphins is that they are curious. They make an eye contact with you and are known for their agility and playful behavior. Humans an dolphins share a special relationship that is so weird to scientists. Our friends? It’s hard to say for sure, but we may never know. But it is clear that dolphins are curious about people as much as we are about them!
