The plot to put Jesus to death

Reading in the Gospel of St. Mark Dear Viewers. Jesus was opposed by the religious leaders of his day and they continually attempted to find a fault with Jesus so they can bring an accusation against him and ultimently to put him to death. They finally got their way (as Jesus submitted to the Father's will) and became the final and ultimate sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, both Jew and Gentile.
