Iran through the eyes of a Russian tourist

Today my favorite section is Iran through the eyes of a Russian tourist.

“I have long dreamed of going to Iran, and I didn’t even imagine that it would soon become a reality when a friend said We are going to Iran!
The Silk Road, the heritage of the Aryans (yes, yes, that’s why you should go to Iran!), Zoroastrianism, oriental flavor, architectural monuments - and all that “eastern exoticism” and aesthetics that interests me now, because the whole “west” has been thoroughly studied with 40+ countries in history and is no longer interesting)
And this is the kind of trip when you surrender to the hands of the organizers and don’t think about anything else, but simply go to another reality and enjoy every minute!

They take you, feed you, tell you and educate you, take care of you, bargain for you in the market, translate from something you don’t understand - but I learned that an inverted heart is the number 5, and a dot is 0)) and yes, you won’t be able to get the numbers on the price tags either read it, but I didn’t even try to deal with money. They just told me “2 little blue pieces of paper”
The best trip is when you can turn off your brain for once, and you are in Evgenia’s good hands.

Results of the trip:
- A couple thousand photos.
- Overflowing emotions from the ubiquitous beauty. The mirror mosque of Shiraz is literally a jaw dropping to the floor.
- A very important immersion in the prehistory of the Aryans, a desire to study Zoroastrianism more deeply. The greatness of Ancient Persia - this must be seen and felt.
- Incredible - and I must say, unexpected - impressions of the hospitality and friendliness of the locals, when local girls hovered around us in flocks and asked where we were from, were glad that we were from Russia (many, by the way, study or studied with us and speak Russian!),
- Living a very interesting experience of being closed in clothes and head, and when you are completely covered with a hijab when visiting a mosque.
- I definitely want to come back!

Traveling is always not only about a place and something new, but also about discovering something new in and for yourself. Therefore, in short, you definitely need to discover Iran!
