The FBI and Los Angeles Police Department are investigating a massive cash theft, possibly amounting to $30 million, from a money storage facility in San Fernando Valley, as reported by CNN.

The burglary occurred on Easter Sunday night at an unnamed location in Sylmar.

The facility, responsible for handling and storing cash from various businesses in the region, was targeted by burglars who accessed the vault without triggering alarms.

The sophisticated nature of the operation suggests potential inside knowledge.

The investigation, conducted jointly by the FBI and LAPD, focuses on identifying the perpetrators.

The facility was operated by private security firm GardaWorld, CNN reported.
