Forgiveness is the intentional decision to let go of resentment and anger that may have been caused or accumulated by a past event. Forgiveness is the highest human quality. It shows maturity and growth and it shows that one can move through life by living it and not being affected 100% by events that hurt them. Sometimes it takes a lifetime to achieve forgiveness as people will hold close reasons such as to why they have been hurt and that they did not deserve it. People will also experience hard time to forgive themselves for the hurt they created themselves. Do not live in the past. Make peace with the past and move on into the future to life fully. The three important steps we chose about forgiveness are:

1. Acknowledgment: Acknowledge the pain, event, the past
2. Remorse: Feel the wrong, the gilt and move on to the next step
3. Repair of Relationships/Restoration: After we have acknowledged and felt deep guilt and know and make peace with the past then we move to repair and restore relationships with ourselves and/or other people
