24LHDVD03-02 Deborah Vails - Renounce

True to Deborah's passion for going to God first, having relationship with Him and having His Word embedded in our hearts, we appreciate another message that helps us in our daily walk to know God better. The word “renounce” means to disown, disclaim, reject, refuse or acknowledge as belonging to, deny, forsake. After repentance we must go a step further to renounce things as an act of our will to further validate the fact that one has made up their mind to come out or to come clean, to walk free from negativity. We must renounce the hidden things that would keep us from our potential. 2 Cor 4:1-2 Fasting and prayer will reveal things in our heart that we may have forgotten. As believers, it is our responsibility to act on the truth of God's Word. When we are completely set free from something of the past, it is gone! Nothing is activated in you if it comes up. (2 Cor 5:17) She shares a list of pertinent things we should renounce, words that are attached to curses, things that can activate a curse, things to help us renounce and much more. Sobering admonition is given to chronic addiction to electronic devices. She gives a heart wrenching clarion call to take heed to 2 Chron 7:14. We can't tell God what to do with the "Yes, Lord." Just say yes! Prayer concludes this message.
