American Rancher Has A Message For US Government “Keep your goddamn hands off my cattle”

IMPORTANT “My family's been ranching in Texas since the 1880’s and I have a university degree in political science and government, so I feel uniquely qualified to comment on this.

That is the overarching thesis of the electronic ID legislation from my perspective as a Texan, as an American and here is why:

Firearms and livestock are the 2 primary insuring agents of sovereignty and autonomy.

If you want to control a population, take away their ability to defend themselves and feed themselves without some sort of government middleman. Tale as old as time. But this is particularly insidious, and this is why:

It's not just about taxing your assets. It's not just about being unable to leave cattle to your children without them having to register it to the government.

This is about you paying a methane tax on every single cow that you own.
