• The proposed legislation will not impact DOH rules regarding immunization
requirements for child care through twelfth grade, or the Tennessee Immunization Information System (TennIIS) maintained by DOH.
• Based on information provided by the Department of Education, the proposed legislation will not jeopardize federal education funding or have a significant impact on the department's policies and procedures.
• Any fiscal impact from removing the declaration of a parent's responsibility to ensure that a child receive certain vaccines is estimated to be not significant.
