Amid 'French Mercenaries In Ukraine' Report, Russia Warns France In Phone Call Over Macron's Threat

Amid claims from pro-Russia groups that foreign mercenaries, including from France, had entered Ukraine, the defence ministers of Russia and France had a phone conversation on April 3. Initiated by Paris, the phone call reportedly lasted an hour. The Russian side warned the French against implementing France President Emmanuel Macron's threat of possibly sending troops to Ukraine.
