A Russian drone factory, located 1,265 kilometers from the front, was hit by Aİ-powered UAVs

Sources from Ukraine's Military Intelligence Directorate confirmed that Ukraine had targeted a drone assembly facility in Yelabuga, Tatarstan, more than 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine.
The source of Kyiv Post said that this was a special operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and that the strike caused significant damage to drone production facilities.
Meanwhile, Russian officials claimed that the Ukrainians had failed to reach their targets, and succeeded only in injuring people.
The press service of the head of the Tatar republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, wrote on Telegram:“Drone attacks took place against factories in Tatarstan at Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk.”
It added that the attacks: “did not cause serious damage and the activity in the factories was unaffected. Unfortunately, in Yelabuga, people were wounded.”
The city of Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan is home to the large Taneko oil refinery. Reports on Ukrainian social media claimed that the oil refinery was the target of a second attack.
The attacks have been made possible by the use of drones with longer ranges and more advanced capabilities, some of which have even begun to integrate a basic form of artificial intelligence to help them navigate and avoid being jammed, a source close to Ukraine’s drone program told CNN.
“Accuracy under jamming is enabled through the use of artificial intelligence. Each aircraft has a terminal computer with satellite and terrain data,” the source explained. “The flights are determined in advance with our allies, and the aircraft follow the flight plan to enable us to strike targets with meters of precision.” That precision is made possible by the drone’s sensors.
