Franky the cyborg Joins the Straw Hats

Franky joins Luffy's crew in chapter 439, titled "Third and Seventh". In the anime, Franky joins the Straw Hat Pirates crew at the end of the Water Park Arc, in episode 322, titled "Goodbye my Lovable Followers! Frank Departs". This episode is based on chapter 437, "Naked but Great", of the manga.
