Low risk of H5N1 spreading between people: CDC

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Tuesday (April 2) person-to-person transmission of H5N1 risk is "very, very low" after Texas officials reported on Monday (April 1) that a farm worker tested positive for the virus that has spread to dairy cows in Texas, Kansas, New Mexico, Michigan and Idaho - the first time the virus has infected cattle.
