On today’s show I have the pleasure of welcoming multiple best selling author and TED-X speaker Corey Poirier to talk about the importance of purpose, how to create a mission statement for your life and business, and about his latest book The Enlightened Passenger.

Corey is a multiple-time TEDx Speaker and was recently announced as one of just 15 SUCCESS Magazine Emerging Entrepreneurs. He’s also the host of the top rated ‘Let’s Do Influencing’ Radio Show, founder of the growing bLU Talks brand, and has been featured in multiple television specials. Corey’s also a Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Apple Books and Kobo Bestselling Author, Award Winning Author, and the co-author of the Wall Street Journal / USA Today Bestseller, Quitless.

A graduate of programs in Entrepreneurship and Marketing in College, Corey has worked in sales most of his life for organizations like Toshiba and Konica Minolta. However, not before working in a music store in his early 20’s, tapping into his passion for music. Writing his first song at age 12, relationships originally inspired his writing and creativity but it soon became about more.

Since a young age, Corey has written or been involved with the writing of more than 25 books, among them The Book of WHY and HOW, The 13 Steps to Riches, Conversations With, and bLU Talks Presents. Corey has also written columns for Forbes called Why Your Why Matters and The Power of No.
