Cat Swats Spinning Top And Stumbles

Anyone who’s seen the hit movie Inception knows all about the significance of a spinning top. For those who haven’t, it’s the one way for those characters to prove whether they’re in a dream or reality; if the top (or, as they call it in the movie, “totem”) begins to falter, that’s a sign the rules of the physical world are in effect and this is real, whereas if it spins perpetually, it’s a sign of being in a dream. The question the movie does not answer, however, is what happens if a cat gets involved?
