#Amtrak #train 518 from Portland to #Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 broke down for 8 hours on the water near Everett Washington leaving over 100 passengers stranded in the dark and shivering in the cold temperatures. The train had also run out of food and had no operating bathrooms. A neighboring freight train company had to send two engines to push the train to a station where passengers could get off and wait for a #rescue train from #Seattle to come pick them up.

In this vlog I also have clips of my mountain life, gardening, baking, and wildlife.

Once I arrived at my destination traveling to Vancouver BC, I met with family for a lovely Easter weekend.

Bread Recipe
1 cup sourdough starter
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup warm water
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1/3 cup cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons oregano and parsley
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder
mix well
add 2 or 2.5 cups flour
mix well and set in parchment paper in a bread pan.
Let rise for 8-12 hours and then bake at 450 degrees ferinheight for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on a rack and enjoy!
