Cats are quite intelligent animals and we are always surprised at what they are capable of when they actually put their minds to use. Luckily for humanity, cats are pretty lazy most of the time.

This sneaky cat somehow manages to open a refrigerator door…

So, let’s get this out of the way up front. The black and white cat in this video steals a piece of cheese toward the end of the video. The question is, can cats eat cheese? It turns out that the answer is both yes and no. No for any cheese that contains garlic or onions or anything in those families. The other no is that some breeds of cats, like some humans, are lactose intolerant especially as they get older. You’ll need to have your cats checked for this. Supposedly, pasteurized goats milk, cheese or ice cream is okay for cats though. Goats do not have similar enzymes as cows in their milk so it is a little better for cats.
