How To Store Reusable Grocery Bags For The Car

Im always forgetting to grab my reusable grocery bags and I thought this DIY tecnique is an easy way to save money and the planet. When I made this project, I purchased universal car hooks, a hard cover padfolio, and 3M adhesive hook and loop tape that was 2in x 10 ft. from Amazon. I probably could have gotten a smaller roll but i was asked to make more for friends.

Here are the links to the products and no i am not an affiliate:

2. car hooks: https://www.walmart.com/ip/ROULENS-2PACK-Bling-Rhinestones-Car-Seat-Headrest-Hooks-Strong-Backseat-Hangers-Universal-with-Most-Cars/126561780?from=/search

3. Clipfolio: https://daydesigner.com/products/clipfolio-romance?_pos=7&_sid=eb2257b2a&_ss=r

4. reusable grocery bags

I then followed the assembly directions.

The first step was to cut two pieces of hook tape which is the rough side and press each one on both sides of the clipfolio like so. Make sure to cut a slightly longer hook tape and place that piece onto the front of the clipfolio. The front will be the side that has the outer clip. This will allow the carrier to have the flexibility to hold more or less bags. It is best to place the front hook tape horizontally aligned from the top of the folio to the second screw of the clip which should be right around five and a half inches long. The back side hook tape should be 4 inches long placed in the middle directly across from the other hook tape. The Loop tape, which is the softer side, should be cut at nine inches. After cutting, place the loop tape across from the back to reach the front. This will be the opener. We flipped the 3m logo tape to show white and placed it over the loop adhesive but washi tape can also be used to jazz up the project. It is now ready for bags. Stuff reusable grocery bags in the middle. Find the front bag’s two handles and pull them out. Now the project is complete and can be hung from the car hooks. We hoped you enjoyed this tutorial.
