Goose attacks are not so uncommon nowadays. People have reported many cases when geese have given them physical injuries, such as broken bones, head injuries and emotional distress. Coming across an aggressive goose can be peaceful only if you maintain constant eye contact and face your body towards the animal.

On March 26, 2018, a man was approaching a bathroom in Memphis, Tennessee, the USA when he was warned by a woman that there is an aggressive goose barricading the way. The man said: "I was trying to go to the restroom and the lady said there was a vicious goose blocking the way. So I figured I would challenge him to get to the restroom. He pecked the back of my head with his beak and I lost the fight."

Apparently, the goose was protecting something or maybe she was nervous about people moving closer to her. The goose flew up and smacked him in the head. Surprised by the whole situation, the man escaped from the place.
