All shelters have exceeded their capacity with the overflow sleeping outside or at the bus terminal. They are running low on resources. With no help from federal, state, or local officials, shelters are relying on good Samaritans to assist with food and water.

The bottleneck created in cities like Monterrey and Torreón is the result of train operations and uncertainty of Venezuelans being deported directly to Venezuela.

At some point the pressure valve will break and thousands of migrants will arrive at the border en masse.
