Family pays extra money for seats on nearly empty flight

The tickets, booked last minute due to a family emergency, were initially for just the parent and their son. However, the crisis was averted, and the travel wasn't necessary. With the tickets being non-refundable, they opted to change the travel dates to coincide with Azlan’s school holidays, adding bookings for the spouse and Maryam. Anticipating a Ramadan rush, they paid extra for the family to fly together and secure a baby bassinet seat, only to find the flight nearly empty!
