Iranian Generals Killed, Tehran Vows Retaliation Against Israel | Firstpost America

Iran has claimed that an Israeli airstrike on its embassy in Syria's capital Damascus led to the death of 11 people including 7 Iranian military advisors and 3 senior commanders. Tehran says that the military generals were from the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. The Regional commander of the Quds force was also killed in the attack. Iran has vowed revenge on Israel. Meanwhile, Hezbollah says they will avenge the attack that killed the Iranian General. Syria also says that it will support any retaliation that Iran undertakes. This is the biggest escalation in the region since 2020 when then US PresidentDonald Trump ordered the killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.
