PM Modi Calls for Internationalising the Indian Rupee | Vantage with Palki Sharma
Indian prime minister Narendra Modi wants to turn the Indian rupee into an acceptable and acceptable currency across the world. The prime minister unveiled his vision while speaking at an event marking the foundation day of the Reserve Bank of India, which is the country's central bank. Currencies like the US dollar and the Euro are currently considered reserve currencies as they are widely used for trade and used as foreign exchange reserve. Many countries, especially in the global South, are trying to challenge the dollar's dominance and use local currencies for trade. Can India also do the same with the Indian rupee?
