Puppy shows sheer joy while digging holes at the beach

Lily is a 3 month old Golden retriever/terrier cross who gets excited about anything new and fun. When Nicole and her family took Lily to the beach in Cobourg, Ontario, Lily discovered sand for the first time. She was thrilled!

Lily ran around with sheer joy as she discovered the fun of digging in soft sand. Lily runs back and forth and digs for a moment, runs around and digs some more. Nicole and her family were delighted and they laughed and cheered Lily on. You can see how happy Lily is in her body language and in her face as she almost seems to be smiling.

Lily even tries to stick her head in the holes and she inverts herself with excitement.She rolls on the sand and flips around, then goes right back to digging some more. Lily would have stayed here all day of she could.

Lily is a very happy dog and she makes her owners, Nicole and Dan laugh constantly. She plays, explores, does tricks and keeps her owners entertained constantly. Lily was the star in a video where she runs into the river out back, trying to play with the large salmon that were swimming upriver for their spawning migration. She also made her family laugh hysterically in the egg challenge gone wrong. But, like most puppies, Lily also chews things, like furniture and sunglasses. Nicole tries to reprimand Lily but she has perfected the art of pleading eyes and a slowly wagging tail and she becomes impossible not to forgive.

Nicole and Dan love Lily like one of the family and she goes almost everywhere with them. Lily is one of the happiest dogs going.
