HERESY HUNTERS / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: I have been a Christian for over 25 years. I have seen and heard a lot when it comes to theology. I have learned that everyone has something to add to the table. However, I have also witnessed a lot of backbiting. Based on listening to several discussions and also theological debates over the years, I have noticed these things: Everyone has misconceptions about what the other person believes or teaches. No one reads Scripture in context all of the time. Christians are quick to throw the heresy flag up if someone disagrees with them. The fact is, not one Christian has everything right. There were things that I used to believe and I insisted that I had right, only to learn years later that I had several of these things wrong. How can we as the body of Christ work through these things without going into mortal combat mode with each other?  What does the Bible have to say about this?
