(9/5/19) Malliotakis Testifies at Port Authority Hearing on Staten Island Bridge Toll Increases

Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis testified at Port Authority's public hearing on proposed toll increases on its three Staten Island bridges and highlights that MTA two-way tolling scheme supported by members of Congress would divert Port Authority toll revenue to MTA. Malliotakis says the shortfall is now being made up on the backs of Staten Island and Brooklyn residents with Port Authority reducing their discounts and eliminating car pool plan.
