First Book, Part 2-20 "LAT101 - Why Latin Essay"
This is me reading my first book. The PDF is available at https://www.linktr.ee/hackingcovfefe .
Make the pursuit of knowledge great again!
Amusingly, I felt the first part of the paper was just like a passion project, only, regarding looking up Latin arithimetic discussions but... Maybe we should and that would be the best use of the people of these times. lol. It may actually be those very discussions, which everyone thinks they know, which allowed for the Arabs to later symbolize and produce Algebra about 1000 years later which we use today. I have always felt that Arithmetic, "basic math", is the most difficult part of mathematics to understand and that, while we think of it as "basic" today such that it is only in "elementary" (foundations) school... The production of the elementary maths probably took for forever given how fundamental they are whereas we would have been focused on doing the projects and other things that "advanced" topics like calculus allows us to do.
Calculus is essentially advanced summation, given that Integrals are "Riemann Sums" named after Riemann who standardized that form of integration... Maybe that's how the engineers did the amazing things of then which engineers of today are surprised by and unable to replicate: they couldn't do "quik maths" or basic math like we could, sure, but they sure as hell knew the essentials of calculus and they discussed it all the time such that there is a plethora of arithmetic discussion available for the modern reader, in Latin, and no one cares because it's merely arithmetic so it's basic math that the retards should have learned in First Grade!
...
We modern people think we are so excellent in the time frame of human history and, yet, it feels like the ancients look at us as an upside-down people which wouldn't even be worth letting tie their sandals. lol.
Regardless, then the rest of the essay on "Why Learn Latin?" continues onto what I would expect have been the true potential of learning Latin but... At this point... It looks like the passion project is the essential project, and the essential projects are the passion projects...
What a weird world after the Coronavirus catastrophe.
