Pyrolysis gasoline treatment with silica gel.

I planned to treat homemade petrol with silica gel and settle the fuel for at least three days. After 24 hours of treatment, the cloudy gasoline became clear and transparent; two more days would allow the absorbent to change the fuel's color, and after 48 hours, the color of the gas was light yellow, but nature stopped this experiment. An unexpected gust of wind blew a heavy wood board onto the glass jar containing the fuel and squashed it. High winds are typical for our area. I already lost at least a dozen units of different lab glassware to the wind. The experiment shows a positive result during the fuel treatment with absorbent.
