Once upon a time, in the heart of the African savanna, there lived a gentle giant named Tembo, a wise old elephant. Tembo resided near a mighty river that flowed through the vast wilderness. One sunny morning, as Tembo led his herd to the river for their daily drink, he noticed something peculiar – the river was swollen from recent rains, its currents swift and treacherous.

Undeterred, Tembo knew they had to cross to reach the lush grazing grounds on the other side. With his vast experience and leadership, he devised a plan. Tembo instructed the younger elephants to form a line, with the strongest ones at the front. They locked trunks, creating a human-like chain, to ensure the weaker members stayed safe in the middle.

As they ventured into the water, the currents tugged at their massive bodies, but they pressed on, guided by Tembo's steady presence. With each step, they leaned into the force of the water, using their collective strength to stay upright.

Halfway across, they encountered a particularly strong current, threatening to sweep them away. But Tembo remained calm, urging his herd to stand firm. They braced themselves, pushing against the flow until they emerged on the other side, triumphant.

Once safely across, Tembo gathered his herd and led them to the greener pastures, where they feasted and rejoiced in their successful crossing. From that day on, Tembo's wisdom and leadership were celebrated throughout the savanna, proving that with unity and determination, even the greatest challenges could be overcome
