Fort Donelson National Battlefield Cemetery, Tennessee along the Cumberland River. February 11th-16th, 1862
Union soldiers died on both the water and land, but it was a Union victory and Ulysses S Grant took control of the Cumberland River and the supply lines to the South were beginning to be cut off.
