MAGNIFICENT MIKE rocket man successful launch and recovery - March 24th, 2018
This is my extended clip covering the launch and recovery of Mad Mike Hughes' March 24th, 2018 successful manned rocket launch. In this video you’ll run with me to first survey the launch pad while the ground is still wet, and then run to the side of the rocket to chronicle Mike’s painful removal from the rocket and examination by EMT. This event was no small thing, as this was the first ever non-governmental manned vertical rocket launch in history. One for the record books! And pulled off by a self-taught engineer, dreamer and publicity genius. Magnificent Mike even beat Elon Musk with this one. I think Mr. Musk should consider offering Magnificent Mike a job at the Space X idea lab, or sending Mike up to ride in the next Tesla they launch into space. Way to go, Magnificent Mike!!
