Hundreds of Shia Muslims gathered in Karachi on Monday to observe Youm-e-Ali, marking the anniversary of the death of Imam Ali, the first Shia imam. Participants also expressed solidarity with people in Gaza, as they marched through streets with Palestinian flags and set fire to the flags of Israel and the United States as a symbol of their support for Palestinians.
