Hidden away in an obscure workshop at one of Britain's most important air force bases, a team of dedicated engineers and enthusiasts are working around the clock to bring a national icon back to life. With a year and two million pounds on the line, there is no room for error as Peter Monk and his engineers attempt to transform the 1943 Mark IX Spitfire from rusting remains into a flying legend.
