Discussion on how to stop bullying to be held in Waterford

Parents say students are being bullied in metro Detroit and nothing is being done to stop it. One metro Detroit mother turned to 7 Action News sharing her story, and now, a meeting is happening where parents and staff can discuss what needs to happen next. Waterford mother says school district is not stopping the bullying of her daughter The original post that spurred this meeting has tens of thousands of shares on Facebook. In the post, the mother says in part, "He began physically assaulting her, throwing her down on the ground, punching her in the stomach, punching her in the face, grabbing her and shoving her into the concrete sidewalk, verbally harassing her, and has even included Emma my KINDERGARTNER in some of these assaults. This bully has left marks on my children and has told Brianna he will never stop."
