Gas prices continue to rise in metro Detroit; up to $2.68 per gallon

Drivers in metro Detroit are continuing to see a rise at the pump, according to GasBuddy. The company says gas has risen 4.2 cents per gallon in the last week, putting it at $2.68 per gallon on average. According to GasBuddy, that's 8 cents higher than the national average of $2.60 per gallon, which is up 4.7 cents. Even compared to last year, prices are much higher. They are 39.4 cents higher than a year ago and 24.2 cents per gallon higher than a moth ago.
