The Israeli air force targeted two tents with two air strikes inside the Al-Aqsa Hospital compound which had a lot of Palestinians seeking refuge. It was also the place where journalists worked. The tents that were stuck were next to each other, resulting in casualties.
Al Jazeera's Hind Khoudary was near the Al-Aqsa hospital when the attack happened. And she sent this report in the immediate aftermath.
Frane Maroevic is the exectuive director of the International Press Institute.
He says the strike near Al-Aqsa is a tragedy that should never have happened.
